Welcome to Cambridge Spectacle Co. By visiting and browsing our web store, you are agreeing to certain terms and conditions. These terms along with our privacy policy govern our relationship with you. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, we recommend not browsing this website.

Our Goods

 

We work hard to bring quality frames to the market so that our customers may have a better choice when seeking to take care of their vision. We keep a range of stock in our possession for distribution to opticians and customers. Where we do not have the stock in our possession, we will work with suppliers to source the stock as soon as is possible. We cannot however guarantee the availability of goods due to surges in demand or discontinuation. Where we have realised that goods are not able to be stocked and dispatched, we will inform you as soon as possible to offer alternatives or offer a refund.

 

We are not able to take any responsibility for loss or damage of any kind for delays that may arise for any reason.

Our website, logo and content are trademarks of Cambridge Spectacle Co. and are not permitted to be reproduced without prior written consent from any member of our team.

 

Your Declarations

 

Before placing an order with us, we ask that you follow and agree to the following:

 

That you have had an eye exam and the prescription you provide has been issued by a registered optometrist and is up to date. This will usually mean it is no less than two years old, however in certain instances this may be less than that as determined by your clinician.

 

Your are over the age of 16 and do not have any condition, such as sight impairment or a complex prescription. If you suspect any such condition, please get in touch before ordering.

 

The prescription you have supplied us is accurate.

 

The payment details you provide when ordering are up to date, accurate and non fraudulent.

 

PD

 

We recommend asking a professional to take take your pupillary distance measurement. We may provide PD measurement services online in line with current technological advances however as this is a third party software, we cannot guarantee its accuracy although we do find in tests for it to be accurate.

 

Returns

 

If you need to return your items to us for any reason, including a refund, we ask that you return all the contents undamaged. You must let us k ow within 30 days of purchase of your intent to return.

 

Limitation of Supply

 

Cambridge Spectacle Co. reserves the right to not supply goods if we feel you have violated any of these terms or have provided inaccurate or false information.

 

Delivery

 

We are offering free delivery on all our orders. If ordering any of our products from outside the United Kingdom, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that any import duties are paid.

 

Guarantee

 

We offer a two-year guarantee on our frames to cover manufacturers faults. We will not accept responsibility from any damage of the goods that arise caused by you. We are however always happy to talk through any issues via any of the methods on the contact us page of this website.

 

Law

 

These terms will be governed by English Law and any disputes arising will be settled by English Courts.
